abstract

  • Presented by Muh. Taufik, lecturer of Department of Geophysics and Meteorology, IPB University, Bogor, Indonesia, at "Online Webinar 2: Biophysical Attributes and Peatland Fires", on 14 October 2020 This speaker shared information about research on the assessment of the hydrological condition and fire risk in degraded peatland and restored peatland. This presentation also showed the importance of peatland rewetting and elevating groundwater table in reducing fire hazards in tropical peatlands.
